Artist's Description

Characters have such power. When I created "Kitty" I purposely made him not masculine and knew very well his name was a sort of cute joke. In my book "Hedgehog Boy" Kitty is the character who ends up being the strong one, he delivers the ending and saves the day. Kitty was my way of saying to all the boys out there that are not traditionally masculine that you are still strong.
