Made after the devastation left behind in the wake of the 2008 recession that hit San Francisco hard, just like every other city. It took me sometime time to realize I was watching the city that gave me a career implode. A boyfriend suffered brain damage after a gang attack on Civic Center. One of my best friend need of "gender surgery." Then the idea started to confront the loss of artist's & friends due to drugs, poverty and the constant housing crises. The series reflected a real moment in San Francisco's history. We lived through it & moved on, but will never forget. By 2018, I picked back up the idea and series to include new characters, one's that added hope & light to the darkness of its original inception. Things change...
