Made in San Francisco in October of 2006. I had an art studio in Potrero Hill and would spend long hours at night creating theses image, even though I had a day job. As a designer assistant to Fisher Weisman I was very but still managed to keep making artwork. This piece is about missing the changing of the seasons in California. Being form NY state I was used to fall and anticipated it. Fall does not really happen here in California. Leaves don't fall, trees do not go bare. Growing up in New Your State my internal memory anticipates autumn it never happens.
