During early December I had made a piece of art in celebration of rediscovering sexuality after being so vey injured for so long. Upon it's completion I was so embarrassed that I almost destroyed my creation ... as new years eve approached realizing I had censored myself, I asked council from Poet: Mr. Dave Russo and in his great wisdom he drafted this poem to accompany the artwork. With his words I feel as if I can release this image titled "Same Desire"

I have been in the desert….
its thirst can never be quenched.
The power of the tiniest drop of water
is magnified by need that cannot be extinguished.
There is never enough.

I am patron saint to all who are
hounded by visceral desire,
compelled by instinctive impulse.
Yes, I am the Guardian Angel
of urgent passions, and my devotion
to their needs also serves my own.

For decades I have ministered, served,
but never tired of returning to those
who quiet, so flee...
