This image is about the search for knowledge. To seek out what you need so you can escape and get to where you want to be. Life sometime has a way of trapping people. The symbolism here of the cave represents that trap. The books and the lamp are the characters will to live, survive and change. Sometimes you might need a bright lantern to light the way.

Rene Carol Capone (b. September 22, 1978) is an American figure painter known for his depiction of the male form with whimsical, erotic and mysterious imagery; often used together. He also works with stories and myth. Capone began his career as an artist creating dreamlike, sensual, often homoerotic images of young men in search of love, identity, and their place in the world. His paintings and drawings are highly prized by art collectors in the LGBT community, they now hang on the walls of private and corporate collectors around the world. Born in upstate New York in the town of Niskayuna. He is the oldest of four children. His relationship to the famed mobster Al Capone remains a well kept mystery.
