Made in 2007 this watercolor was made at Live Art Gallery in San Francisco an art studio & gallery building long demolished now for expensive condos for the more wealthy people of the city. I miss that place still, now more than ever. When this image was crafted I used to carry plastic swords around with me and have all my friends pose with them for me to draw. This here is John, he was my yoga teacher and sometime my spiritual guru. Always willing to pose with my sword, John was a good sport. He left San Francisco for warmer weather, the frosty winds that climbed in with the fog really upset John.
