A couple I once knew in Sweden posed for me so I do a series of paintings. I made these as intense as possible, as I thought I was really trying to say something about how hard it can be for two boys to truly love each other. Being gay does have its road blocks and barriers, and the simple fact that your both members of the male species adds a level of double trouble to everything. We are not always the brightest or most understanding of creatures.
