Oh be still my beating heart. A hidden figure trapped in beads beaming with light presents himself. He is so close yet so far away. This piece of art was about unobtainable desire and voyeurism. This painting was made after a photo shoot where I had both about 10 pounds of plastic beads and draped them over a friend of mine in San Francisco. He was always a really good sport about such things. Thank you Thom.
