Rene Carol Capone (b. September 22, 1978) is an American painter known for his depiction of the male figure with whimsical, mysterious and erotic imagery; often used together. With an evocative blend of eroticism and childhood wonder Capone's art conveys a sense exploration and discovery. Twenty years ago, Capone began his career as an artist creating sensual, dreamlike and often homoerotic images of young men in search of love, identity, and their place in the world. Twenty years later his paintings & drawings are now highly prized by art collectors in the LGBT community. Capone's work adorns the wall of private and corporate collections all around the world.

In 2017 Capone published a massive art book title "A Boy Named Patience." The book features artwork from 1997 - 2017 and is paired with the distinctive poetry of beloved poet Dave Russo from Long Beach, CA. The book received rave reviews and sill available for purchase at this link: http://www.blurb.com/b/8829404-a-boy-named-patience
