Yellow Skies are on the horizon. I've decided to put more of my art catalog of 20 years online. Looming thoughts of mortality linger within me. This watercolor was made in 2012 while I was working as an interior design assistant. I accidentally wound up working for the one of the most famous interior designers on earth for seven years. Much of my art from that period of time was influenced by the images that I would see while putting away his reference materials. I saw beautiful books and catalogs of the most incredible creative efforts from artists around the world. This image was of a statue on the grounds of a garden deep in the south of France. Statues in America do not display emotion like this so I was very interested this statue.
