Artist's Description
I made this painting about all the masks people wear everyday and why. I called it "Sometimes Your Eyes" because underneath a mask all you can see is a persons eyes. I also had just read Joseph Campbell's "The Hero With A Thousand Faces", so I was feeling pretty smart. Then after reading Campbell's book I was compelled by forces unknown to me to make my graphic novel "The Legend of Hedgehog Boy." - This painting here in away was the starting point.
