Artist's Description
It comes from the pages of my graphic novel "The Legend of Hedgehog Boy" I stopped painting for four years to complete my mission. The book became an underground hit, but it's subject matter of documenting the odd behavior of PTSD in abused children really frightened people. To further unnerve people it was all wrapped up in a gay love story. I still consider this book to one of the most important things I'll ever do because of instead of pretending I was perfect and the world was peachy clean, I showed it in all it's glorious flaws. Exposing my own flaws in the process. The world is a horrid miserable place full of jealous monsters seeking power and influence over others, if you find someone to love in the mess that is our world, well, then you have won the game.
